Principal's Message

Dear Enosburg Families,

On behalf of the Enosburg Elementary School (EES) Staff, I welcome you to the EES website! There are many resources here, for students, parents/guardians and teachers. It is our hope that this site is another way for information to be provided to community we serve.

Just to give you a little background about me, I grew up in the Town of Enosburg, graduating from EFHS.  I am very proud of this.  I have worked as principal of EES since July 1, 2005.  Prior to this job, I worked at Jay/Westfield Elementary School as a teaching principal. In addition, I taught at EES for 12 years, from 1988 – 2000. It is amazing how quickly the years have gone by. It has been a pleasure to work within the community of Enosburg for so many years.

At EES, we have high expectations for students and strive to provide the instruction that meets the academic needs of all students. We believe that we are partners in the education of our students and that we have active, involved families and a supportive community. These are key elements to a successful school. Please speak with your child’s teacher about ways to support your student with school work and, if possible, ways to volunteer in classrooms. The Four Winds Supplemental Science Program and participating with our school’s parent group, ACTIONS, are two popular ways that parents/guardians support the classroom. If interested, please speak with your child’s teacher about this.

I look forward to a productive school year.

With kind regards,

Michelle V. Lussier
